My Talking Angela is a Virtual Pet app. It is available for download for iOS or Android devices.

Like many virtual pet games, you are given Angela, an adorable, somewhat-humanoid white cat. You have total control over Angela and can do quite a few things with her. Like any pet, you must care for her, including cleaning and feeding her. You can also entertain her by teaching her songs and dances that she can then perform for you, and yes, it is adorable. You can also dress her however you want, including changing her clothes and giving her makeup.

My Talking Angela also comes with a wide array of mini-games that can be a nice distraction. Furthermore, the game is easy to learn. When you first get started, Angela will give you directions about what she needs and wants. She will also give step-by-step instructions on how you can take care of her. For new players - or players who may not be familiar with how these games work - this can be very beneficial.

You can't say that there is a "plot" or a story to this game, per se, but you do get to "raise" Angela, staring with her in a baby carriage that she will eventually grow out of. This is a nice feature and adds a degree of fun to the game, as you do sort of feel like a digital parent. It doesn't hurt that Angela can be either an adorable kitty or take a more human form, depending on how you design her to look. The graphics are cartoonish, but for a game like this, that's a perfect look.

One of the nice additions to this game is there is a robust community. You can play this game with family and friends and engage in community activities, including trading stickers.

My Talking Angela is free to download. However, like most of these games, it relies on in-app purchases in order to turn a profit. You can buy diamonds with real-world money. These diamonds can then be used to purchase in-game items. Furthermore, you can purchase an in-game subscription that gives access to exclusive content that you cannot access without the subscription.

This game is obviously targeted towards a younger generation, so you have to make sure your kids know how to navigate the internet and these apps without clicking on any unwanted advertisements or making unauthorized in-game purchases.
